Over The Hills

Golden mist envelops rolling hills and valleys in a tranquil sunrise scene.

Over the hills,
And far over yonder,
Where friends are chill
As they grow fonder
Of each other with a smile on their face,
True peace for the human race.

With a bright future ahead
Where people can be whatever they want
With no more sorrow, and no child unfed.
A place of hard workers, people not full of daunt.
Everyone happy and full of joy,
Equal rights for every girl and boy.

Captains and kings and rulers and leaders,
A place full of these and normal people,
Like scientists, or teachers or animal feeders,
Or bell ringers atop the rising steeples.
So many people, not above,
But equal with others, a true brotherly love.

Over the hills,
And far over yonder,
Where friends are chill
As they grow fonder
Of each other with a smile on their face,
True peace for the human race.
